Opened a money market account there about 6 months ago. It has been paying 5.25% the entire time and their statements and web site are convenient. I haven't seen a higher mm rate anywhere and there CD's also are about the highest I have seen. Countrywide is also very solid financially. They have a somewhat unique operation in that their branches don't actually hold any money. When I opened the account at the branch, they filled out all the paperwork and then had me put the paperwork and deposit check in a Fed EX box on site which they send to their office in Texas. You could do the exact same thing yourself on-line if you're not near a branch.

Thus far, very impressed with my dealings with them.
